They are grouped by the kind of move each client was making, because the questions a seller has are not the questions a first-time buyer has, and neither of those are the questions someone relocating to Fredericton from another province has.
What comes up most often
Three things show up in these reviews more than anything else, and they happen to be the three things I work hardest at.
The construction background. I came into real estate from the trades, and I still walk a house that way — deck framing, foundation, roof, ducting, moisture. Clients describe it the same way over and over: that I flag what is going to cost money later before they write an offer rather than after. That is deliberate, and it is the single most useful thing I bring to a showing. Buying a home in Fredericton walks through how that fits into the rest of the purchase.
Straight numbers. Fredericton is a market where the average list price and what a home is actually worth can be two different conversations. I would rather give you the honest number and lose the listing than win it on a price that sits. If you want to see where your own home sits, start with what your Fredericton home is worth.
No pressure. More than one review says some version of “he never pushed us.” If a house is wrong for you, the fastest way for me to lose your business permanently is to talk you into it.
From sellers
Rob is an amazing realtor! He sold our minihome and helped us find our new home. He basically does the job of a home inspector and realtor when viewing properties, and is very knowledgeable with potential issues and how to fix it. He takes the time to answer all questions and help figure out if a home is right for you. He also goes above and beyond with his sales, whether big or small. Including in the realtor fee comes the pictures, video, 3D Matterport, etc. During our open house, he had brochures and everything. He makes your house stand out. We cannot recommend him enough, and we would without a doubt use him again (but hopefully not because we don’t plan on moving 😂)

Rob just sold our house before he was able to publicly list it! We contacted him on a Monday. He did his walk through on Tuesday, photos on Friday, showing on Saturday, offer on Sunday. We got what we were after. This was our second experience using Rob’s services. He sold our townhouse in 2014 and helped us buy the house we just sold. With this sale, Rob went above and beyond by taking care of numerous details after the sale, up until the closing date. We moved out of the province one month prior to the closing date. Rob ensured the close was completed without issues which took any stress off of us. I would highly recommend Rob. He is very knowledgeable about buildings as well as real estate and is very attentive to your needs.

Rob is an outstanding Real Estate agent. He goes above and beyond to find you your perfect home. As first time home buyers and being posted to New Brunswick with the military, we really didn’t know what to look for. Rob is very personal and with his background in carpentry he can, and he will point out the positives and the negatives in the homes you look at, so you know what you will be getting into. He definitely knows what to look for in a house, and he will find you your perfect home! Look no further as Rob is the best real estate agent for you!

We recently moved to NB from another province and interviewed 4 realtors before settling with Rob. Working with Rob was one of the best experiences of professionalism I’ve encountered. 3 things stood out for us: 1. Coming from a builders’ background, he actually went and look at the structural components of a house from a place of knowledge. Having this level of expertise really assured us in weeding out the overpriced fixer-upper’s from the well built candidates. You just won’t get this with other realtors who have no interest in looking at deck foundations or ducts. His YouTube channel gives Mike Holmes a run for his money. 2. He really knows his numbers and what fair and over/undervalued valuations look like per house in this tempestuous market. Other realtors insisted we’d have to pay a lot more and need to go to a certain area, but he shot from the hip with giving us excellent advice on fair valuations and areas to look in or avoid. His market assessments were extremely accurate compared to closing prices. 3. One is ultimately in society and working with people and we found him to be affable, courteous and an excellent listener. It’s not a word I use lightly but we trust him and will work with him again in a heartbeat. Absolute salt of the earth. Rob is a gentleman and I hope this review serves to get him more attention because he simply is the best there is out there.

What an incredible experience we had working with Rob!! I guess we were the most irritating customers he got, so many questions, so many panic calls, but he was always calm, ready to answer all our queries with a smile always. He does not show houses, he lets you know details which you will never ever think of, he is so incredibly knowledgeable. We found our first house in Canada becasue of him. He has spoilt us so much that we can never ever even think of meeting any other realtor now for all our future needs. Thank you Rob, you are an amazing human being.
