About Rob

Hi, I’m Rob Hamel, a Fredericton REALTOR® who helps people buy and sell homes without the stress, confusion, or awkward small talk you didn’t sign up for. If you’re moving to Fredericton, upsizing, downsizing, or buying your first home, I’d love to help you do it with confidence (and maybe even a laugh or two).

I first moved to Fredericton to attend St. Thomas University, where I played soccer for the Tommies, earned my BA in 2008, and met my wife, Jennifer. We’ve been together since 2004 and are now raising two very energetic kids, Camara and Callum, plus a Goldendoodle named Duncan—yes, the one with the blue mohawk. He gets recognized more than I do.

When I’m not working in real estate, you’ll probably find me on a soccer field—playing in Fredericton’s “old boys” league, coaching youth soccer with Oromocto Area Soccer Association and Soccer NB, hosting youth soccer events, or shuttling my kids between practices and games. Soccer and community have always been a huge part of my life, and that same team-first mindset carries over into how I work with my clients.

I’m also the son of a carpenter, which means I grew up on job sites long before I ever stepped into real estate. That hands-on experience helps me spot structural red flags and construction details that many people miss—giving my buyers better insight and helping them make smarter, more informed investments.

I’ve been a REALTOR® since 2013, and I’m known for bringing a creative, modern approach to every sale—whether it’s a first-time buyer condo or a family home. I’m especially passionate about educating buyers throughout the entire process, using clear communication, honest advice, and innovative marketing tools that actually work.
